A.H. Hirsch Reserve Bourbon 16yr Old Blue Wax

Bottled in 1991, the “blue wax” A.H. Hirsch was the first release in the legendary series from Gordon Hue and Julian Van Winkle III. They would go on to produce several more at Van Winkle’s Old Commonwealth Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, before selling the remainder to Preiss Imports, which bottled most of the remainder in the better-known “gold-foil” release of 2003.
