This is the third in a three-year series of rye whiskeys that Heaven Hill released in the late 2000s. Though the original, 21-year-old release was largely ignored when it appeared by the time the 23-year-old and 25-year-old appeared, fans were on the lookout, and it became an immediate collector’s item.
