Samuels Homestead Residency Experience

Available Year Round | Bardstown, Kentucky

Living in Lore | Distillery Tours | Kentucky Bourbon Legends | Meeting the Samuels’ Family

An Elevated Whiskey Experience

Bourbon Lore delivers the most intimate, invitation-only immersion into Kentucky’s bourbon heritage. Guests reside at the Samuels family’s original 1820 homestead—one of only three remaining—where history, legacy, and living family storytelling come together. From pre-arrival concierge design to private behind-the-scenes access at Maker’s Mark and two legendary distilleries, this 3-night / 4-day residency offers what no other bourbon experience can: lore, lived in residence.

Throughout the evening, hosts from Bourbon Lore, the JH Outfitting Co. and the National Park Service will share the rich history and cultural significance of American whiskey and the surrounding natural beauty between fine dining courses.

Finish your night with a seat at the internationally famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in downtown Jackson, with an open bar. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a set of three Bourbon Lore one-of-one exclusive bottles.

We are offering this experience for two days only, Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th, and Sunday November 16. Tickets are $5,000 a person.

This combination of Western luxury, fine dining, and whiskey appreciation is designed to celebrate the art and lore of whiskey making and the beauty of Wyoming. We hope you’ll join us, and we’ll see you soon.
